Chopper Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Coast

An aircraft soaring near a crowded coastal coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.

Footage uploaded online show the aircraft commencing to spiral over Huntington Beach then plunging in the direction of the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm trees and a steps near the shoreline route.

First Aid Details

Local firefighters reported five people were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the accident on Saturday.

Three persons on the road were harmed. Details on their wounds were not immediately available.

The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
